Vivica A. Fox

Vivica A. Fox (née le 30 juillet 1964) est une actrice et productrice américaine. Elle a débuté sa carrière dans Soul Train et a joué dans les feuilletons télévisés Days of Our Lives et Generations. À une heure de grande écoute, elle a joué aux côtés de Patti LaBelle dans la sitcom Out All Night diffusée sur NBC. Fox s'est fait connaître en 1996 grâce à ses rôles dans Independence Day et Set It Off. Fox a joué dans les films Booty Call, Soul Food, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, Kingdom Come, Two Can Play That Game et Boat Trip. Elle a tenu des rôles principaux dans les séries télévisées éphémères Getting Personal et City of Angels, ainsi que dans Missing, pour laquelle elle a reçu un NAACP Image Award de la meilleure actrice dans une série dramatique. Fox a joué dans la série de films The Wrong... pour Lifetime et a incarné Candace Mason dans Empire. Fox a fait ses débuts en tant que réalisatrice avec First Lady of BMF: The Tonesa Welch Story, qui raconte l'histoire de la première dame de la Black Mafia Family à Detroit.
